Spacious and comfortable detached character cottage dating from 1850 located in the rural hamlet of Mandeville En Bessin (262 inhabitants) in the regional park marshlands of Contentin and Bessin just 4km from Trevières, 6km from Colleville Sur Mer and the seaside, 12km from the historic town of Bayeux, 23km from Arromanches and the landing beaches and 44km from Caen. The cottage has its own courtyard and sun terrace with garden furniture and shares extensive grounds with badminton court, boules court and swings with two other cottages.

Guests may hire bed linen or bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Guests will need to bring towels and tea towels. Blankets and French style pillows are provided. The first 56kw of electricity per week in included in the rental, any additional consumption and heating, including water heating, will be charged at cost. A fully refundable security deposit of 300 Euros and a small tourist tax of 0.50 Euros for everyone aged 13 and over per day is payable to the owner on arrival.

Arrival time is from 1600 hours and departure time is up to 1000 hours. Charges for linen hire, heating, water heating, firewood and end of stay cleaning are payable to the owner on site.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in France cleaning the property at the end of the holiday is considered to be the responsibility of the holidaymaker. Please ensure that you leave the cottage clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will mean that a charge for cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
