Semi-detached character cottage dating from the 18th century located near the rural village of Maisons (308 inhabitants) between Port En Bessin and Bayeux just 3km from the beach, 4km from the historic town of Bayeux, 13km from Arromanches and the Landing Beaches and 36km from Caen. The gîte is very peaceful and surrounded by trees and fields and shares grounds with garden furniture and swings with the adjoining cottage.

The first 56kw of electricity per week are included in the rental, any additional consumption and heating, including water heating, will be charged at cost. Guests may hire bed linen or bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Guests will need to bring towels and tea towels. Blankets and French style pillows are provided. A fully refundable security deposit of 300 Euros is payable to the owner on arrival together with a small tourist tax of 0.30 Euros per person per day.

Arrival time is from 1600 hours and departure time is up to 1000 hours. Charges for linen hire, heating, water heating and end of stay cleaning are payable to the owner on site.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in France cleaning the property at the end of the holiday is considered to be the responsibility of the holidaymaker. Please ensure that you leave the cottage clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will mean that a charge for cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit together with a small tourist tax of 0.30 Euros per person per day.
