Comfortable semi-detached cottage dating from the end of the 19th century and located in very peaceful surroundings in the small hamlet of St Martin de Mailloc (712 inhabitants) in the forest of St Julien de Mailloc in the Pays d'Auge region of Calvados. Lisieux is only 10km away and the seaside is 40km away. The owner lives next door and is always on hand to make guests welcome. The property is surrounded by a large garden of 900 square metres which is enclosed by hedges and shared with the owner.

The first 56kw of electricity per week is included in the rental. Any additional consumption and heating, including water heating, will be charged at cost. Guests will need to bring sheets and pillow cases and towels and tea towels. Blankets and French style pillows are provided. A fully refundable security deposit of 300 Euros is payable to the owner on arrival together with a small tourist tax of 0.50 Euros per day for everyone aged 13 and over.

Arrival time is from 1600 hours and departure time is up to 1000 hours. Charges for heating, tourist tax and end of stay cleaning are payable to the owner on site.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in France cleaning the property at the end of the holiday is considered to be the responsibility of the holidaymaker. Please ensure that you leave the cottage clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will mean that a charge for cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
