High quality semi-detached character cottage dating from 1750 located next to an unoccupied barn in the heart of the countryside 2km from the small village of La Cambe (588 inhabitants) only 8km from Grandcamp Maisy and the coast , 10km from the landing beaches and 25km from Bayeux. The cottage commands beautiful views over the surrounding marshes and has its own enclosed garden with south-facing terrace, garden furniture and BBQ.

During July & August utility charges are included in the rental. During the rest of the year heating is charged at 60 from Euros November to March, 45 Euros from April to June and during September and October. Bed linen is included in the rental. Guests may hire or bring their own towels and tea towels. Blankets and French style pillows are provided. A fully refundable security deposit of 300 Euros is payable to the owner on arrival together with a small tourist tax of 0.65 Euros per person per day.

Arrival time is from 1600 hours and departure time is up to 1000 hours. Charges for utilities, firewood and end of stay cleaning are payable to the owner on site.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in France cleaning the property at the end of the holiday is considered to be the responsibility of the holidaymaker. Please ensure that you leave the cottage clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will mean that a charge for cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
