Tastefully decorated and furnished semi-detached stone character cottage dating from 1720 located 2km from the historic town of Clécy (1182 inhabitants) in the heart of the countryside in the Suisse Normande region of Calvados. The cottage is welcoming and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. There is another gîte next door. The cottage has its own private balcony with terrace and the delightful enclosed garden which contains a small stream is shared with the other cottage. Kayaks and canoes are available free of charge.

Bed linen is included in the rental. Guests will need to bring towels and tea towels. Electricity and water charges are included in the rental. Guests will need to bring towels and tea towels. Heating is in addition to the rental and is charged at 31.5 Euros per week in October and November and from March to May and 49 Euros per week from December to February. A fully refundable security deposit of 300 Euros is payable to the owner on arrival.

Arrival time is from 1600 hours and departure time is up to 1000 hours. Charges for heating, firewood and end of stay cleaning are payable to the owner on site.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in France cleaning the property at the end of the holiday is considered to be the responsibility of the holidaymaker. Please ensure that you leave the cottage clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will mean that a charge for cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
